Bringing Together Older and Younger People

The Commissioner for Children and Young People and the Older People’s Advocate were excited at the prospect of showcasing work which demonstrated the benefits of bringing together older and younger people. This important event displayed some of the fantastic work currently being done between the generations throughout Northern Ireland. This event was held in the Long Gallery at Stormont on Wednesday 4 November 2009 it showed a small sample of the intergenerational projects and the positive impact on young and old within communities in Northern Ireland.
